The Practice

Glencross and Hudson, Structural Engineers and Surveyors, was established in 2008. Our practice has maintained a substantial and consistent work load, developing a sound reputation for our work in the South East, London and West Midlands.  We greatly value our professional reputation and most of our work is obtained from the personal recommendation of previous clients. The practice serves a wide range of clients and long-standing associations with Architects, Designers, Contractors, Developers and Homeowners throughout the UK. We are committed to providing a professional service regardless of size or complexity of the project. We strive to understand and fulfil your needs as effectively as possible, with the philosophy of a small company whilst offering the resources of a larger company.

Resources

Our offices in London and Wolverhampton are without corporate restraints, creating an informal environment that promotes healthy discussion on construction issues and solutions. Our broad range of experience enables us to deliver the most appropriate solution for each construction project or problem.

Richard Hudson is a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, including Structural engineering designs for basements and other domestic and small commercial projects. He has also been a loss adjuster on structural engineering issues such as subsidence, fire and flood.  Richard acts as independent consultant to Helifix (Ancon)Ltd who specialise in structural repair of buildings worldwide.

Tracy Hudson is a Building Surveyor and Office Manager with over 10 years’ experience in various areas of the construction industry including, Building Surveys, Party wall matters and Basement Construction. Tracy specialises in conservation and sustainability.

Glencross and Hudson have invested in the latest design software to support our engineers and CAD technicians in providing designs and structural analysis.
